Sweet
& Sour Sausages
2 lb Small pork sausages (1 kg)
14 oz Canned sliced peaches (398 ml)
¾ cup White sugar (175 ml)
1 tsp Curry powder (5 ml)
1 tbsp Onion flakes (15 ml)
1 cup Chili Sauce (250 ml)
½ cup Ketchup (125 ml)
Brown
sausages. Cut into bite-size pieces. Place in a 1.5 quart (1.5
l) casserole.
Mix
remaining ingredients in a bowl, then pour over sausages.
Bake uncovered at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes. Stir.
Bake another 15 - 20 minutes.
Serve
with rice.
NOTE:
If you pierce the sausage's skin & boil them for a few minutes
before browning a lot of the fat will melt out.
